More than a decade ago, Brenda discovered the joy of holding a camera and composing photographs that would create a lifetime of wonderful memories for the subjects of her shots. Over the years, her interest in photography began to develop into a passion.

It was those very people, the subjects of thousands of wonderful photographs blessed by her passion, who began to encourage her to puruse photography as a profession.

Although she was reluctant to do so, she agreed to become the official photographer of the Jack City Select Fastpitch Softball organization. In that role, Brenda took thousands of action shots of young collegiate scholarship prospects during competition. Those who saw those photos recognized her talent and began to request her services to memoralize many of the most important milestones in their personal lives... weddings, proms, engagements, maternity, and family portraits.

While on a family vacation in the summer of 2012, Brenda hired a profossional photographer in Clearwater, Florida to conduct a family photo session on the beach. The results were disappointing. Not only was the photographer aloof and impersonal, the portraits were sorely lacking in quality and imagination and were far more costly than their value. Again, with encouragement from those who had been blessed with her work, she was finally able to recognize that her enthusiasm, personality, passion, creativity, and skill provided her with a special ability to produce quality work which would be of value to those who were interested in her services...and at a far more reasonable rate. Brenda Connell Photography was officially "born."

Since that time, Brenda has become a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), attending ImagingUSA and PhotoProExpo training conferences every year. She has also expanded her business by adding a new studio to her home in late 2018. 

Brenda's ultimate goal in her photography has always been to deliver shots you can believe in. Meaningful and priceless photography which capture a lifetime of memories...at affordable rates. Capturing treasured moments of life events has become her speciality...weddings, engagements, maternity, family portraits, special events, and sports.
